What we do with your details
Short version: we use what you send us to reply to you, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company name, and whatever details you give us about the equipment. We do not collect payment information through this website.
Why we collect it
Only to respond to your enquiry and to carry out any transaction that follows from it. If you ask us to sell a machine, we use your details to list it and to put you in touch with buyers. If you ask us to find equipment, we use them to come back to you with what we find.
Where it goes
Form submissions are stored in Airtable, a third-party database service, and are emailed to us. Only Ivespark Solutions Inc. has access. We do not share your information with anyone else except where it is necessary to complete a transaction you have asked us to carry out — for example giving a buyer's shipping address to a carrier.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are deleted after two years. Records relating to a completed sale are kept for seven years, which is the retention period Canadian tax rules require for business records.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@humberasset.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Email from us
If we contact you by email, every message identifies us, gives this address, and includes a way to tell us to stop. Ask and we will not contact you again.
