Eppendorf’s Mastercycler Pro S is a research-grade PCR thermal cycler with a 96-well silver block and the Vapo.Protect heated lid, which suppresses condensation and reduces evaporation over long protocols. The S designation denotes the silver block variant, valued for its temperature uniformity and fast ramp rates.
Widely used in molecular biology, diagnostics and teaching labs. A common buyer is a lab replacing an older cycler or adding a second unit without paying new-instrument pricing.
